School holidays

Well we are half way though the school holidays and finally the madness has settled down a little. Bonnie cam down with the kids and Kellie for a week and that was hard work having three families in the house. But lots of fun too.

So far the kids have gotten out of "helping" clean the cottages with me but today is the day. Not much scrapping getting down at the moment but soon by dining table will be back and I will have all tht room to spread out. Cant wait. I am transforming a nursery cupboard that I used for all the kids into my supply cupboard which is lockable. That will keep the kid outs. lol

A couple more pages

Well I had totally forgotten about this link but a couple of friends are still waiting for updates. so here goes. We are all well here. Caitlin just turn 5 and Christian turned 3 last month. Geez time flies. We have all been busy here just with everyday life things but I do manage to get a couple of pages done so here they are.

Somehow the photos went on without the writing working so lets try again shall we. lol

Shopping Shopping Shopping

Today we hit the op shops to see about winter clothes for the kids. They didn't get much and believe or not I scored the most for a change. Funny now everyone gets sorted out before the poor old mum. I got 4 t-shirts, long sleeved shirt, tracksuit pants, sneakers, socks, a new hang bag (bargain at $2.50) and some sunglasses. About time is was me - must be a carry on from my birthday yesterday.

Tomorrow I hit the scrapbooking shop to spend my birthday vouchers.

Scrap night at new store.

Last night we had the first midnight scrapping at the new store in Bridgetown. It was great. I wasn't sure how I would go because I was pretty tired but once you start sitting, scrapping, having coffee and cake, and chatting the time just flies by. I spent most of the evening doing my "100 things I love" when it is finished I will post it up.

The store has some fantastic off the page stuff I got the butterflies from there and a cupcake album looks pretty exciting too. A recipe stand is there also and I would love to do one of those so my pages can go on display before they get locked away in the albums. I have going to have to bring them out more often when family and friends come down with Perth so I can show off my work.

I don't if I will be doing it every week. Tuesday night is my night out and the shop has so other things that I would like to go to. So a better stay home and spend some time with Glen so I can go..... lol ;)

Butterflies, Butterflies

These are my finished butterflies. I am really happy with them. I have actually made these ones for me. I keep making beautiful stuff and end up giving them away as presents. So these ones are for me and my scrap room -a bit of inspiration doesn't hurt. Maybe the girls might get them later but at the moment they would just pull them apart.

Some great news

There has been some great news in Bridgetown. The new scrapbooking shop has open and I have only been there twice. (Opened last Thursday). It is going to be great. It has a lot of papers, chipboard letters, paints and off the page stuff. Tracy, the owner, has already organised a midnight scrap of the 6th of March. I am going - I bet that was a surprise to everyone. It is great news.

Not much has been happening around here. The cottages are a little quiet but I am sure they will pick up again soon. The girls are settling into school well. Tamika is learning to read and Caitlin has just started going two full days of kindy. Last week mum came down for a visit so we went out to lunch and down to Bunbury when the girls were at school. This week it will be me and Christian- so when he goes for a sleep so will I. Christian has moved into a bed and it is not going to well. I am up most nights ( a couple of times a night - not all night)so that is why sleeping when he does is first on my list.

I got a wooden butterfly from the scrap shop and am decorating it for the scrapbooking room. So we had a photo shot for photo to match the papers. They turn out great.
