Life is good

I am sure you have all had those weeks where nothing, not a thing is going right. This is my week, washing is piling up because it is raining and I have no dryer. (it died and I didn't replace it because it is suppose to be sunny) So I have a clothes line filled with wet, clean clothes and a laundry filled with dirty ones. ;) Some of the animals got out and had a sleep over at Sunnyhurst Chalets, so I had to pick them up. Cottages to clean which is not happening and a husband coming down with a cold, 2 very tired girls with colds and a little man who appears to be getting teeth so not much sleep is happening.

But with all of these things and many more life is still pretty good. I have a family who loves me, have enough money to buy more milk until payday, and my health -I am not sick like the rest.

A bit sappy I know but my life is pretty good when you really think about it.

What a weekend.

What a weekend we have had. Matt and Michelle and the girls came down for a few days. It was really good seeing everyone and Glen was happy to have a drinking buddy. But having 5 children in the house and 4 of them being little girls are get awfully loud sometimes. :).

Went to me time today and did a bit of mosiacs. It was so easy. Just need to grout and then I can post a picture. Nothing exciting just a star with a blue background.
Glens not a big fan of my masterpiece. ;) I am happy with it.
Might get some more tiles and do number for the cottages. I am trying to make the cottages more homely and country cottage-ish. If you know what I mean. The next couple of weeks are a little slow so hopefully we might be able to get some more painting finished.

This is the page I entered into the Bridgetown Show. I didn't win a prize but it was grat fun to enter something into the show. Next year I might enter in more pages and might even do some sewing and a card. But we will see about that. Have a year to decide.

Family Christmas presents done

I came up to Perth this weekend to see a friend in hospital and to drop of Christmas presents. Am so excited that this year all the Christmas presents are done. Only have to get 2 more presents and then I have finished. Glen, mine, and the kids are all on layby so I just have to pick them up and wrap. DONE YIPPEE.

I am so looking forward to Christmas this year. Not much planned but we have some good friends spending the day with us so the kids can play and I can have lots of cuddles of the new baby. Lets just hope Christian dosen't get to jealous because he does even if I am gving Glen a hug. lol

This weekend is the Bridgetown Show and I am entering some of my pages into the scrapbooking section. I might enter a couple and see how I go - mayby one of each of the kids.

Melting moments

Last night I tries to have a bake up and all I manages to do was make a chocolate brownie and some melting moments. Lost interest which doesn't take long these days. lol With the melting moment I must have done something worng because they taste like you are eating butter mixed with flour. Not really very nive. Will have to try again with that one.

This weekend we had the BLUES IN BRIDGETOWN. And we had great weather for it - nice and sunny considering it had be raining all week down here. The markets were packed with heaps of different stall and of course fruit and vegies. You can tell we live in a hippy town when you see all the stall that were at the market. I brought my first hippy headband. Hopefully this will keep my hair out of my face when I am cleaning the cottages. Which I have four to do today.

Tamika's first assembly

Tamika's class had to run the assembly today. They did so well they did play about Hobyays., which are little green monsters that like to eat children. It was very funny. Tamika had to get up and say a few words and she was so clear and loud it was great - very proud of our schoolie. The class also sang a song "happy as Larry" I am sure she was the loudest out of the whole class. Next they got the whole assembly toget up and do it also. Nana came to watch. It was really good.
